    Description

This listing is for an antique ceremonial fly wisk, which was gifted from Ethiopian Brigadier General Mullugeta Buli to US Colonel Alva Fenn. This piece does not have an exact date inscribed on it, but is most likely from the late 1940's or early 1950's, after the East African Campaign and the Italian occupation of Ethiopia had ended. This piece features a horse hair head, with a natural bone handle, engraved with the inscription, "From Brig. Gen. Mullugeta to Col. Alva Fenn". This piece comes in a custom molded, velvet-lined presentation case, measuring about 22" long (the actual wisk is about 2" shorter). This piece is in absolutely excellent condition for it's age. The presentation case has a little bit of wear on it's underside, but that is all. This unique piece of history would make an absolutely excellent addition to anyone's collection! Get this when you see it! This listing will not last long!
