    Description

    This is a rare, unique and very interesting brochure from 1946 featuring the Third Army R & R facility set up at Garmisch Ski Resort in Bavaria Germany.  Available to the Third Army Personnel stationed in Europe, it provided free lodging and meals, free rental equipment and free instruction. There were ski races, ski jump competitions and ice skating events all for personnel only and all free!!!
    The folded brochure measures 4 inches wide and 8 inches tall, and folds out to feature pages 8 inches tall by 16 inches long.
