    Description

    Nice piece of US Army history. This small oval platter features the insignia of the United States Army Transport Service. A wheel, crossed sword and key, topped by an eagle with the initials U.S.A.T.S. above and below in cobalt blue with a matching stripe around the well. No maker's mark on this platter, which measures approx. 6 1/4 by 4 1/2 inches. Excellent condition, no chips or cracks. There are a few specks under the glaze, which can be seen in the photos.
