Vintage 40s 1946 MILITARY BUTTON DOWN SHORT SLEEVE SHIRT WWII sz S
This  button down shirt was part of a service member's uniform in the 1940s. It is dated 1946 on the inside, so this would have been issued just after the official end of WWII (9/45), though likely during the reparation period following the war. Pockets have button closure. Print on inside collar is faded, but indicates that the collar size is 14.5. Additional print on the shirt tail reveals style, requisition date, etc..
Structurally, this shirt is in excellent condition with no holes, tears or loose seams. It does have some cosmetic spots: one may just be surface dirt on the back of the left sleeve, the other is a faded dark spot on the collar. Overall, it has held up well over the years.
Measurements are consistent with a contemporary small, but every figure is different so please...
